OAK HILL – Vicki Jo VanDerbeck, 63, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday evening, June 12, 2025, surrounded by her family.

            Vicki was born in Barre City, Vermont on May 31, 1962, daughter of Robena Comstock Roberts and the late Raymond Roberts.  She was raised in Vermont and moved to Hudson in the early 1980’s.  She met her future husband Rick and moved to Oak Hill in 1991, marrying in 1996.  Vicki worked as a laborer for the City of Hudson School District and for Catskill Ambulance, and was retired.

            Vicki is survived by her husband, Richard VanDerbeck; her three children, Chris Roberts (Robin), Bruce Barrett (Eressa), and Rae Lynn Roberts; granddaughters, Amber Roberts and Autumn Barrett; grandson, Christopher Roberts; great-granddaughter, Camryn Belle Degroff; and her mother, Robena Comstock Roberts, as well as her sisters Diana, Tracey and Yvonne.

            Per Vicki’s wishes, she was cremated and there will be no services.  Memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org will be appreciated.

            The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Community Hospice for their unwavering support, helping them and Vicki throughout her illness.
