GREENVILLE – Beverly F. Myers, 89, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, June 8, 2025.  She passed away just 5 weeks short of her 90th birthday.

            Born in Palenville on July 16, 1935, she was daughter of the late Floyd and Lillian VanValkenburg Falk.  Raised in Palenville, Beverly attended Rowena Memorial School there, and was a graduate of Catskill High School.  She and her husband moved to Greenville in 1955.  Beverly was a homemaker while her children were young.  In later years, she worked part-time in Bryant’s Supermarket and Ames Department Store.  Beverly was very active in local senior groups, enjoying the meetings and bus trips.  In her quiet time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, and cooking.

            Beverly is survived by her husband of more than 70 years, William R. Myers; two children, William T. Myers and Arline Myers-Biegel; four grandchildren, Kristopher Biegel, Jenny Biegel, Becky (Russell) Lewis, and Brianna Myers; and the light of her life, her great-granddaughter, Natalie Smith.  In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her two brothers, Floyd and Walter Falk.

            At Beverly’s request, the funeral will be held privately.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Greene County Women’s League-Cancer Patient Aid, P.O.
