Marshall and I and my family were long time friends and neighbors of Lee and Muriel...we had many good times together and especially after Christmas Eve service at the Episcopal Church...singing in the choir with Muriel and Lee as director. We had the pleasure to visit her last year and at 102 she was amazing. Remembering very well life events in Greenville. We shall miss her shinning face...

I had the privilege to visit Muriel at Peregrine every other Thursday for the past year. We enjoyed playing left right center together with a group of girls. Muriel gave me so much life advice and told me much about her experiences as a teacher, wife, and mother. As a 17 year old girl, I didn’t expect to relate to and befriend someone with such a big age gap. She was such an amazing, charismatic, brilliant, and funny woman. I will never forget her words of wisdom and the friendship we had.

My favorite teacher. I truly admired and respected her. I feared her a little too for she was stern. But she never gave up on her students. I had her for Business Math as I recall. If I ran into her after her retirement, she always remembered me when she saw me. I would introduce myself just in case, and she said "I know who you are!" with that wonderful smile of her. Rest well Mrs. Falkey, and keep them in line in heaven. See you on the other side .

Oh my, I remember my being in her typing class in my 11th year at GCS (1963). I’m so glad I took that class, not knowing how I would need it as I grew older! God bless her and her family that has such wonderful memories! My mother just past at 101. How great Mrs Falkey was to make it to 103!. My condolences to her family.

My condolences to Mrs. Falkey's family. I did not have the good fortune to have her as a teacher. We did live on the same stretch of Rte 32. Always happy, always pleasant, interactions with Mrs. Falkey were enjoyable. Lucky are those that were her students. Rest Peacefully Mrs. Falkey.
