Mary Anne Snyder

Mary Anne Snyder, 56, passed away on January 1st 2025 in Delta County, Colorado. She was born on February 22, 1969, in Catskill, New York, to Margaret and William Snyder.

Mary Anne grew up in upstate New York and graduated from Greenville Central High School. She later moved out west to be closer to family, where she built a life filled with love and adventure. While there, she met her future husband and started a family, raising two children who were her greatest pride and joy.

After her children graduated, Mary Anne settled in Delta County, where she dedicated herself to a rewarding career in elderly patient care. She had a compassionate heart and found deep fulfillment in helping others, ensuring comfort and dignity for those in their final moments.

Mary Anne spent 29 years on the Western Slope, where she embraced the beauty of Colorado. She loved camping, traveling, and making memories with friends and family. Her adventurous spirit, warmth, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved children, Margot (26) of New York and Sam (24) of Gunnison, Colorado. She also leaves behind her siblings: Regina Chenot, Gerry Elsbree, Bridget Ardoin, Joseph Snyder, Robert Snyder, Thomas Snyder, and William Snyder. She was preceded in death by her sister, Meg Paserela.

Mary Anne’s legacy of kindness, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2 to 4pm at Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville.
