Roberta Ellen Ingalls, 83, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at her home in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Roberta graduated from Greenville Central High School in 1959 and then entered the nursing program at Roosevelt Hospital School of Nursing in New York City.

Upon graduation, she entered the United States Air Force. She served in Colorado and New Mexico, as well as overseas in both England and Greece. She retired as a Major from the United States Air Force in 1986, following 22 years of service as both a nurse and an administrator.

Roberta devoted her life to caring for others. In retirement, she volunteered at the local VA Medical Center, nursing homes, and animal shelters.

She is predeceased by her father, Alonso Norton Ingalls, and her mother, Marjorie Clark Ingalls.

Roberta is survived by her brother David Ingalls and his wife Arlene Kellie Ingalls of Greenville, her nephews, Michael (Jennifer) Duncan, and Mark (Megan) Duncan both of Medusa, as well as her great nephews and niece, Cody, Scott, and Emily Duncan.

Per Roberta's wishes, a private funeral and burial service will be held in the Spring at Medusa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
