It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Claire E. Van Alstyne’s passing at the age of 91. Claire left us peacefully at her home in Greenville, New York, on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Born in Cohoes, New York, on August 23, 1933, to Joseph and Margaret (Tousin) Forget.

Claire dedicated many years of her life as a bookkeeper for her family's trucking business, William Van Alstyne, Inc., where her hard work and diligence truly shone. She cherished her time at the family home in Lake George.

Claire is reunited in spirit with her loving husband, William, and will be missed by her son David (Vickie) Van Alstyne, her daughter Susan (Peter) Pridon, and her four grandchildren, along with seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, Claire was privately cremated, graveside services will be held at the family's convenience.
