CORNWALLVILLE - Diane Marie Kennelly (Davies) born on April 11 th , 1941, passed away on Sunday, February 18th, 2024.

Diane was born in Manhattan NY to Edith Davies (Kennedy) and Thomas Davies. Diane

was raised in Manhattan, graduated from George Washington HS, and relocated to

Cornwallville to raise her children. Diane was a secretary at McCalls Magazine, and

worked locally at Shapanack Resort , The Shamrock House, and notably served as a

CNA at Eden Park for over 25 years. Diane loved reading mystery novels, gardening,

and spending time with children. Her passion showed through leading many Girl Scouts

and Cadets.

Diane is predeceased by her soulmate and husband, Gerard Kennelly, her mother Edith

and father Thomas. Additionally she is predeceased by her beloved brother Richard,

son James, daughter-in-law and adventure partner Mary Ohle McGahan, and her

beloved longtime best friend Eileen Keriazis.

Diane is survived by her sister Nancy Belfiore (Richard); and her children Nancy

McGahan (Michael Gelfand), Thomas McGahan, Elizabeth Kubernach (John Christian),

Russell McGahan (Kim), and Neil Kennelly (Karen). Additionally she is survived by her

grandchildren James, Sarah, Mary, Amy, Victoria, Brooke, Thomas, Christen, Bethany,

JoAnne, Zachary, Aaron, Jerry, and Mara. Diane was also blessed with great-

grandchildren- Meyer, Miles, Charlotte, Benjamin, Ansley, Carter, Nathan, Kaydence,

and Zachary Jr. Diane also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, whom she

cherished.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 22nd from 4 until 7pm at

A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, and a Memorial Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Knock Shrine, 2052 State Route 145, East Durham, on Friday, February 23rd at 11am.
