I offer my condolences to the Rauf family. I knew George a long time ago when we were both students at Greenville Central School and alter boys at Saint John the Baptist. George was about three years my senior and a good role model. We both grew up on small farms. After he graduated, he bought a hay baler and we didn't have one. We had George bale hay for us for about 10 years. He was very reliable and dependable. He came to bale for us when we were ready, often just ahead of a rain storm. I don't recall ever losing hay because we did not get it baled and in the barn before the rain. When we made hay on other farms, George lent us his old truck, I think it was a 1927 Ford that ran very well, to bring the hay to our place - that was a God sent! Thank you, George.

Our deepest condolences to the Rauf family from the Bredderman family. In so many ways so long ago, George helped us when we were struggling dairy farmers on Boomhower road. He baled our hay, helped us lime fields, cut firewood and lent us a truck so we could harvest hay from distant fields. He gave generously of his time and effort. Rudolf, Paul and Theo remember him dearly as a fellow dairy farmer and a giving neighbor.

George would provide transportation for my mother, my brother Phil and myself to the Altamont Fair
which I will always be thankful for. We were neighbors for many many years in LambsCorners.
Our sympathy, Butch & Mary Bear
