Erika Anne Cook, 17 years, of East Durham passed away suddenly in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, August 1, 2011. She was born in Hudson on October 29, 1993, daughter of Milton Cook, Jr. and Kristine Goff. Erika was a member of the Class of 2012 at the Cairo-Durham High School. She liked to keep busy and did not like to sit around. Erika loved her family and friends, liked to draw and doodle, and enjoyed rap music. Surviving are her parents, Milton Cook, Jr. and Kristine Goff; her two brothers, Jarred Goff and Nicholas Cook; her grandmothers, Irene Cook and Marie Goff; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Erika was predeceased by her grandfathers, Milton Cook, Sr. and Steven Goff. A funeral service will be Saturday, August 6 at 1 p.m. at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. Friends may call at the funeral home, prior to the service from 11 AM to 1 PM. Burial will follow in Winston Cemetery, East Durham.
