Obituary of Herbert Kiedaisch

Herbert Kiedaisch, 84 years, of Greenville, NY (formerly of Baldwin, NY) passed away on June 19, 2011 at the Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 26, 1927, son of the late William and Dorothy (Sangmeister) Kiedaisch. Herbert served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was employed in Administration with IBM in New York City until his retirement in 1986. Herbert loved sports, in particular the Mets and the Islanders which he never gave up on. He also loved golfing and shopping. Besides his parents, Herbert was predeceased by his three brothers, William and Robert Kiedaisch and William LaHiss. Surviving is his beloved wife of 61 years, Doris (Lesher) Kiedaisch, his two sons, Randy Kiedaisch (Teri) and Ronald Kiedaisch, three grandchildren, Lauren, Christa and Michelle Kiedaisch and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wed., June 22, 2011 at 7:30 PM at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR81, Greenville, NY. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 & 6 to 7:30 prior to the service. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Greenville Cemetery. Family & friends may meet at the funeral home on Thurs. 9:45am for the procession to the cemetery.
