Obituary of Ronald R. McIntosh

HILLSDALE – Ronald R. McIntosh, Sr., 73, passed away after a brief illness on Monday June 19, 2017 at home. He was born on June 3, 1944 in Hudson to the late Stanley W. and Goldie I. Rote McIntosh. After high school, he worked as an Electrician Apprentice before joining the U.S. Army in 1967. After being honorably discharged, he worked as a maintenance mechanic at Hudson Cold Storage before becoming a pack house supervisor at Agway. He married Linda Santamaria McIntosh in 1981 and they lived in Hudson for twenty years before moving to Hillsdale. Ronald also worked as a repairman at the Universal Match Factory for fifteen years before becoming a machinist at Servotec. He was a jack of all trades, and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a movie buff and was very family and friend oriented. Ronald is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Ronald R. (Kerri) Jr., Elisa, Daniel S. (Katrina), and Jacob A. McIntosh; his grandchildren, Jordan, David, Alyssa, Jenna, Shawna, Sarah, and Oliver McIntosh; his mother-in-law, Claire Santamaria; his brothers-in-law, Anthony and George Jr. (Chriss) Santamaria; and his dear friend, Deanna T.
