Obituary of Frank Joseph Ratcliffe

MANALAPAN - Frank Joseph Ratcliffe, Jr., 85, passed away on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at home in Greenville, NY surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born on November 26, 1931 in Brooklyn to the late Frank and Edith Kenter Ratcliffe. He was raised in Jersey City, and soon after high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force. He was based on Aleutian Islands during the Korean War. After being Honorably Discharged from the military, Frank married and settled down in Manalapan, NJ and raised two children. For 32 years, he worked at Bell Telephone Company, which became Verizon. Frank was very active with the English Town Auction during the fifty years he lived in Manalapan, and he also loved to fish. He moved to Greenville in 2012 to live with his son and enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. Frank is survived by his sister, Edith "Dixie" Bihler; his children, Regina and Reginald (Keren) Ratcliffe; and his grandchildren, Ian and Ana Ratcliffe.
