Obituary of George R. Seage

George R. Seage, age 86, a resident of East Durham, NY, died peacefully on April 21, 2017 after a period of declining health. Born on September 28, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late George R. Seage and Theresa (Healey) Seage. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War era. George worked for the Grumman Corporation in Bethpage, Long Island, NY and for the Massapequa, NY Public Schools. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Angelikas) Seage for 55 years; devoted father of George R. Seage III and his wife Ann Aschengrau of Wayland, MA, and Janet (Seage) Shriver and her husband Jeffrey Shriver of Bethlehem Township, PA. Proud grandfather of Greg Seage of Bloomfield, CT. Calling hours will be on Sunday April 30, 2017 from 3-5pm at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY. A prayer service will be held on Monday May 1st at 10am at the funeral home, followed by burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, SR 81, Oak Hill NY, at 11am.
