Obituary of Robert L. Walters

WESTERLO – Robert L. Walters, 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. He was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on March 6, 1940, son of the late Frederick and Elsie Olson Walters. He was raised in Connecticut and Westerlo. He was employed as a laborer with Local 190 for his entire career, retiring 10 years ago. Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting. Robert is survived by six children, Judith I. Venette, Robin L. Smith, Laura E. Walters, April A. Johnson, Amanda L. Walters, and Robert L. Walters, Jr.; four siblings, Ethel Brower, Irene Scheck, Charles Walters, and Helen White; six grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. Keeping with his wishes, Robert has been cremated privately.
