Obituary of Ella Rysavy

FREEHOLD – Ella Vander Pyle Rysavy, 97, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 in the Pines at Catskill. She was born April 10, 1919 in Paterson, NJ, daughter of the late Jacob and Laura Bruen Vander Pyle. Ella was formerly employed at Lorr Laboratories and Western Electric, both in New Jersey. After moving to Greene County, she did home nursing and volunteer work. Ella was a member of Greenville Center Baptist Church. Ella is survived by her brother, Charles Vander Pyle; her nephew, Frank "Bud" Vander Pyle and his wife Lise; several additional nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Ella was predeceased by her husband, Frank Rysavy; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Alice Vander Pyle; sister, Nellie Preziosi. Calling hours will be Saturday, July 2, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Freehold Cemetery.
