Obituary of Deidre Lynn Andrus

RENSSELAERVILLE: Deidre Lynn Andrus, 53, March 15, 1962-March 8, 2016 Dee passed away peacefully at her home with her son and daughter by her side. She fought a very long and heroic battle with breast cancer. Dee was the daughter of Lawrence and Marion Bryan, also of Rensselaerville. Dee was predeceased by her husband, Steven, her Gramp and Nan Bryan, and her Uncle Tater whom she will now see again. Dee worked as a Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Rensselaerville for over 15 years, where she made many, many friends over the years. Dee is survived by her son, Steven, and daughter Shannon (Shawn) and her beloved granddaughters Madison Lynn, Taylor Gail and Abbigail Shawn, her parents Lawrence and Marion Bryan, and her sibling's: brother Larry (Bro) and wife Kathe, sister Michelle, and younger brother Randy (Rani) and several nieces and nephews. Dee also had a wonderful father and mother-in-law Ernest and Saundra Andrus. Her children would like to send very special thanks to Dee's best friends Elizabeth and Timothy (Homer) Bohler. You have no idea how grateful we are for all you did for mom; we love you very much. We would also like to say thank you to her doctor, Dr. Coller – you are a special person. Also, thank you to the whole team at NYOH: Matt, Dan, Jill, Jack and all of the staff. A very special thanks to Hospice, you all went above and beyond to allow mom to stay home where she wanted to be. Thank you to everyone for your love and prayers. We are so grateful to all of you. There will be a Remembrance Celebration of Dee's life at the Rensselaerville Fire House on Saturday, April 16 at 2PM.
