Obituary of Dorothy Lounsbury

WESTERLO – A. Dorothy Lounsbury, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at her residence on Lake Onderdonk with her family present. Dorothy worked for NYSDOT for many years, and served several terms as councilwoman on the Westerlo Town Board. Dorothy is survived by her children, Gail (Robbie) Snyder, Barbara Wisenburn, Mark (Sharon) Lounsbury Sr., Theodore (Debbie) Lounsbury Jr.; grandchildren, Theodore (Julie) Lounsbury III, Eric (Amber) Lounsbury, Jennifer (Kevin) O'Leary, Mark (Alicia) Lounsbury Jr.; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Owen, Claire, Teddy, Eric, Collin, Logan, Connor and Declan; in-laws, Patrick (Helen) Lounsbury, John (Diane) Lounsbury, Terry (Eva) Lounsbury, Donna Lounsbury, Sandra Ross, Bettejean (William) Mueller. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, John and Amelia Ringwald; husband, Theodore S. Lounsbury; son-in-law, James Wisenburn; all of her siblings, John, Bill, Arthur and Bobbie Ringwald, Emilie Smith and Christine Koskinen. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at A.J.
